With the bonus, 12 KrisFlyer miles become 1.3 Shangri-La Circle points instead of 1 point. Circle points moving the other way yield 1.625 KrisFlyer miles each, up from 1.25 miles. Miles-to-points conversions require a 20,000-mile minimum. Points-to-miles conversions require a 1,000-point minimum. KrisFlyer conversions cannot exceed 180,000 miles in a calendar year. The 10 members with the largest conversions in each direction get an extra 10% bonus.
The ratios remain very poor value even with the 40% bonus. Convert only for a specific need in the other currency, and check the Singapore Airlines site for a deadline first.
