What happened
Saudia is charging $30 per 1,000 AlFursan miles from September 15 through September 30, 2026, then adding a 96% bonus that cuts the usual 3.0 cents per mile to 1.53 cents.
Anyone can buy. There is no minimum, and even a 1,000-mile purchase earns the bonus. The program caps purchases at 200,000 miles per calendar year before adding the bonus. Saudia is running the sale as a Saudi National Day promotion.
AlFursan tickets Saudia first class on select Boeing 777s, inventory most partner programs cannot access. One-way first class from Saudi Arabia to Europe is 62,500 miles, about $959 at the bonus rate. The same cabin to most of the United States except Los Angeles is 105,000 miles, about $1,619. Space in that cabin is scarce, with some seats appearing close to departure. Partner programs already release most Saudia business class awards.
