What happened
Royal Jordanian has taken delivery of its first new Boeing 787-9 (registration JY-RBA), which features a new business class cabin equipped with the Collins Aerospace Elements seat product. The airline plans to introduce this new product across its long-haul fleet, including retrofitting existing 787-8s in the future. The new aircraft is scheduled to enter service on April 7, 2026, initially operating flight RJ111 to London Heathrow (LHR). The Collins Aerospace Elements seat is a reverse herringbone configuration, similar to the product found in Starlux's A350 business class, offering an upgrade from the airline's current Collins Aerospace Diamond seats in the 787-8 fleet
