What happened
Royal Jordanian is undergoing a major fleet expansion and cabin modernization. The airline has taken delivery of its first new Boeing 787-9 (registration JY-RBA), which features a new business class cabin. The product appears to be the Collins Aerospace Elements seat, a reverse herringbone configuration similar to what is found on Starlux. The aircraft is scheduled to enter service on April 7, 2026, initially operating flight RJ111 to London Heathrow. This new product will eventually be retrofitted to the existing 787-8 fleet as well. The new 787-9s feature 32 business class seats and 280 economy seats in a total of 312 seats
