Porter Airlines is opening a new, modern passenger terminal at Montreal Metropolitan Airport (YHU), formerly known as Montreal Saint-Hubert Airport. The terminal is scheduled to welcome its first passengers on June 15, 2026, following delays from the original late 2024 target. The 21,000-square-meter facility features nine jet bridges and is designed to serve over four million passengers annually. It is modeled after Porter's Billy Bishop Airport hub. While Porter already operates at Montreal-Trudeau (YUL), this new terminal will serve as a second hub. Porter plans to launch a dozen routes from YHU, including connections to its Toronto hubs, using both its Embraer E195-E2 jets and De Havilland Dash 8-400 turboprops. Pascan Aviation, currently the only other airline at YHU, will also use the terminal and has plans to codeshare with Porter
