Four Seasons Cartagena Opens in Historic Getsemani Neighborhood

Four Seasons has officially opened its newest property in South America, the Four Seasons Hotel Cartagena, in early April 2026. Located in the Getsemani neighborhood near the UNESCO-listed Walled City, the 131-key hotel occupies a collection of landmark buildings, including the 16th-century San Francisco Temple and the 1920s Beaux-Arts Club Cartagena. Accommodations range from Colonial Rooms (388-560 sq ft) to the 3,175 sq ft Catroux Suite. The property features four dining venues, including a Major Food Group steakhouse, a rooftop restaurant, and a pizza place, along with a wellness area and rooftop pool. Rates are starting at approximately $525 per night for entry-level rooms, with promotions such as a fourth night free. The hotel is positioned as a reasonably priced Four Seasons property.
