What happened
Active members of Finnair Plus and Radisson Rewards can now convert between Avios and hotel points after linking accounts with matching names, and Finnair elite members can request a Radisson Rewards status match that is generally valid for 2 years.
Members convert 3 Avios into 5 Radisson points or 10 Radisson points into 1 Avios on the Finnair Shop portal. The partnership FAQ maps Finnair Silver and Gold to Radisson Premium. Platinum and Lumo map to VIP. After the match period, Premium requires 5 nights or 3 stays and VIP requires 30 nights or 20 stays within a 12-month period. Member rates start as soon as the match is in place.
Radisson-branded hotels in the Americas sit in Choice Privileges and do not earn or redeem in Radisson Rewards. LoyaltyLobby values each Radisson point at 0.2 cents and treats moving Avios into the hotel program as a poor use of miles.
Request the Radisson match if Finnair elite status is already in hand, and keep Avios out of the hotel program.
