What happened
Eurowings will replace the first three 3-3 rows on all eight of its A320neos with two rows of reclining Geven seats from 1 December 2026. Each Premium BIZ seat has a 50% larger footprint than standard business class and nearly a metre of legroom. The seats add a cocktail table and USB charging.
The winter 2026/2027 schedule puts the cabin on selected leisure routes as well as London and Dubai, not the full network. The rest of the roughly 90 A320-family aircraft will not get the recliners. Spain flights generally sell only the recliner as business class. London and Dubai keep blocked-middle BIZclass as a cheaper option and charge extra for Premium BIZ, at €60 on Dusseldorf to London and €315 on Berlin to Dubai. Dubai flights add a pillow and dining on porcelain.
From December 2026, pick an A320neo and check whether Premium BIZ is in the business fare or an extra assignment, especially on London and Dubai.
