What happened
STARLUX-operated flights now credit Etihad Guest miles, expanding an August partnership that already let members book awards and use the Taipei lounge. Etihad already flies to Taipei.
First-class F and A tickets earn 250 percent of miles flown. J fares earn 175 percent, with other business codes at 115 to 130 percent. Economy earning starts at 100 percent and falls to 25 percent in the deepest discount buckets.
Awards follow a distance chart. Economy starts at 6,000 miles for trips up to 500 miles and reaches 75,000 miles beyond 6,001 miles. First class on that longest band costs 200,000 miles. STARLUX is adding more airline partners, with American Airlines expected soon.
Credit STARLUX flights to Etihad Guest when the fare class earns 100 percent or better, and price awards on the distance chart before committing miles.
