What happened
Atmos Rewards (Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines) is increasing the partner award booking fee from $12.50 to $20 per passenger per direction. The change is effective for bookings made as of July 1, 2026. The fee applies when redeeming points for award tickets that include travel on a partner airline (e.g., American Airlines, Japan Airlines). It is charged per person and per direction, meaning a roundtrip for two passengers would see fees rise from $45 to $80. The Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite Credit Card ($395 annual fee) continues to offer an unlimited partner award booking fee waiver for cardmembers who pay taxes and fees with the card. This waiver is expected to remain in place despite the fee increase
