What happened
The Alaska Lounge at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) has joined the Priority Pass network. Access is subject to a $15 co-pay per visit. Additionally, members must be flying on Alaska Airlines or a partner airline (such as American Airlines) on the day of access. The maximum stay is four hours. This is currently the only Alaska Lounge participating in Priority Pass. Historically, most Alaska Lounges were part of the network, but Alaska has shifted focus to its co-branded credit cards and oneworld benefits, leading to crowding. The SFO location's inclusion is seen as a way to monetize excess capacity and drive demand for Alaska/partner flights
