What happened
Airelles Palladio Venice has officially opened as of April 2026, marking the French luxury hotel group Airelles' first property outside of France. Located on Venice’s Giudecca Island, just a five-minute boat ride from Piazza San Marco, the 45-key hotel is housed within the former Bauer Palladio complex, featuring three restored buildings, a 16th-century heritage church, and expansive gardens with views of St. Mark’s Basilica. Designed by Christophe Tollemer, the property blends French elegance with Venetian artistry. Amenities include a full-service Guerlain Spa, three swimming pools, a gym, a kids club, and several dining options including abc kitchen, Matsuhisa, Villa Frollo, Cichetti Bar, and Palladio Bar. Rates start at €1,200 per night in the low season and rise to €2,500 in high season. Rates include breakfast, complimentary minibar, luggage packing/unpacking, laundry service (up to 10 items/day), non-alcoholic pool drinks, spa access, and roundtrip boat shuttle service to St. Mark’s Square
