## Summary

Waldorf Astoria opened a 268-suite hotel in Kuala Lumpur in late October 2026. The all-suite property sits in the Golden Triangle, with suites from 861 square feet.

One Mile at a Time reports the lowest cash rate seen at $479 a night before taxes and fees, with seasonal rates of $600 or more. Hilton Honors redemptions appear to start at 100,000 points a night when a standard suite is available. Four Seasons and Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur often cost around $300 a night. Hilton for Luxury can add breakfast and a hotel credit, though upgrades depend on availability. Filling 268 suites at those prices looks difficult next to luxury hotels already in the city.

Book the Waldorf only if 100,000 points or $479 a night still looks better than those $300 hotels on the same dates.
