Seats.aero has released a Chrome extension that overlays award pricing directly within Google Flights search results, allowing users to view redemption options from various loyalty programs without switching tabs

## Summary

Seats.aero, a tool for finding award availability, has launched a new Chrome extension that integrates directly with Google Flights. The extension overlays award pricing and availability data onto standard Google Flights search results, eliminating the need to toggle between tabs. Key features include:
- **Real-time-ish Data:** Displays award costs from various programs (Chase, Amex, etc.) directly on the flight listing.
- **Customization:** Users can filter results by transfer partners, specific airline programs, maximum award cost, and maximum taxes/fees (the latter requiring a Pro membership).
- **Caching Warning:** Like the main website, the extension uses cached data, so availability may not be real-time; users should confirm on the loyalty program's site before transferring points.
- **Installation:** Available via the Chrome Web Store, though users may need to manually verify installation status. This tool is particularly useful for points optimizers who frequently use Google Flights for cash comparisons but need to quickly assess award redemption value

## Why it matters

Card-issuer angle via American Express, Chase. New route or product — useful for award booking and positioning flights.
