What happened
Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has begun the rollout of free Starlink Wi-Fi for all EuroBonus loyalty program members. The service is being installed on a phased basis, starting with the Airbus A320neo fleet, which comprises roughly two-thirds of the carrier's aircraft. While SAS has not provided an exact timeline for every plane, the airline expects a substantial share of its A320neo fleet to be connected before the summer season. Installation on other aircraft types, including wide-body planes, is expected later in 2026, subject to regulatory approval. Full fleet coverage across all aircraft types is not expected until sometime in 2027. The service is gate-to-gate, high-speed, and allows multiple devices per user. It is free for EuroBonus members, who can sign up at no cost. This rollout follows similar announcements from other major carriers like United, British Airways, and Lufthansa Group
