Norwegian Air Shuttle has temporarily changed its social media logo to British Airways' for 24 hours after losing a World Cup bet, coinciding with a flash sale on 'Norwenglish' destinations

## Summary

Norwegian Air Shuttle and British Airways engaged in a social media rivalry during the World Cup quarterfinal match between England and Norway. The two airlines made a bet that the carrier associated with the losing team would change its social media logo to that of the winning team for 24 hours. England defeated Norway, so Norwegian followed through on the bet, updating its Instagram logo to the BA logo. To capitalize on the attention, Norwegian also launched a flash sale on tickets to destinations in both Norway and England, which they dubbed 'Norwenglish' destinations

## Why it matters
