# Marriott ends mycitizenM+ sales and renewals from 17 November 2026

Marriott will no longer sell or renew mycitizenM+, citizenM's paid discount membership, from 17 November 2026, and current members keep their perks until the term ends.

Marriott told members by email that it is ending the product to focus on Bonvoy. Members do not need to cancel. Annual plans due to auto-renew before 17 November 2026 will renew once for a final year. Perks stop when that membership expires.

Marriott has been closing other paid add-ons, including clubMarriott in Asia-Pacific. Paid perks largely overlap with Bonvoy. Once a membership expires, the citizenM discount overlay is gone and only Bonvoy rates and elite benefits remain.
