Lufthansa will start nonstop Frankfurt to Columbus flights three times a week on May 5, 2027, Columbus's first transatlantic service. The 4,248-mile route will use a Boeing 787-9 with new Allegris cabins, 28 business class suites and 28 premium economy seats. Tickets go on sale October 20, 2026.
