Lufthansa is closing one of the two business class lavatories on select aircraft, including the Boeing 787, during meal service to create more galley space for its new 'FOX' catering presentation

## Summary

Lufthansa has implemented a new operational policy where one of the two business class lavatories is blocked during meal service on select aircraft types, specifically the Boeing 787. This change supports the airline's new 'FOX' soft product overhaul, which emphasizes enhanced plating and presentation. The crew utilizes carts in the galley for this work, and the forward galley space on the Dreamliner is limited. Blocking the forward lavatory prevents passengers from navigating around the crew and their equipment, thereby streamlining the service workflow. The airline reports no complaints regarding this temporary reduction in lavatory availability
