KLM is testing a buy-on-board catering model on select European routes from March 29 to April 25, 2026, offering preordered meals and paid options alongside complimentary drinks

## Summary

KLM has launched the final test phase of its new onboard catering service on select European routes from March 29 through April 25, 2026. The trial covers flights to Madrid, Valencia, Helsinki, Oslo, and Birmingham. While Economy Class passengers still receive a complimentary drink and snack, they now have the option to preorder meals when booking or via MyTrip. Additional items, including hot snacks, are available for purchase onboard throughout the flight (except during taxi, takeoff, and landing). Payment options include credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and Flying Blue Miles. Passengers booked on test flights will receive an email notification prior to departure
