# JetBlue to Roll Out 'Mini Mint' First Class Fleetwide Starting 2026

JetBlue has confirmed plans to introduce a new premium cabin, tentatively branded 'Mini Mint,' across its entire fleet of aircraft that do not currently feature the full Mint business class product. The rollout begins in the second half of 2026, with approximately 20% of the non-Mint fleet equipped by the end of that year and a vast majority by the end of 2027. The new cabin will utilize the Collins Aerospace MiQ seat, similar to American Airlines' domestic first class. Initial plans for eight seats on A220s and 12 on A320s/A321s have been adjusted; JetBlue now expects three to four rows of first class on all aircraft, potentially resulting in 12 seats on A220s/A320s and 16 on A321s. To accommodate this, JetBlue will reduce economy seat pitch from 32 inches to 30 inches, while EvenMore Economy will see a slight reduction to 35 inches, and the new first class will offer 36-37 inches of pitch. The reconfiguration process will start with the oldest A320s. Prototype installation is slated for June 2026, with widespread installation starting around August 2026
