Japan Airlines is deploying its new Airbus A350-1000 aircraft to five destinations: New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, London, and Paris, with specific flight numbers and frequencies identified

## Summary

Japan Airlines is gradually replacing its Boeing 777-300ERs with the new Airbus A350-1000, featuring an all-new passenger experience. The airline has taken delivery of 11 of 13 ordered aircraft, with the final two expected by 2028. One aircraft (JA10WJ) was damaged in JFK in December 2025 and is expected to reenter service in fall 2026. The A350-1000 is currently operating daily on the following routes:
- Tokyo (HND) to New York (JFK): Flights JL6, JL5, JL4, JL3.
- Tokyo (HND) to Los Angeles (LAX): Flights JL16, JL15.
- Tokyo (HND) to Dallas (DFW): Flights JL12, JL11.
- Tokyo (HND) to London (LHR): Flights JL43, JL44. These are distinct from the A350-900s used for domestic flights. The rollout continues as the 777-300ERs are retired
