# IHG pays 2X and 3X on paid stays from Oct 1 to Dec 31 2026

## Summary

IHG One Rewards will pay 3X total points on paid stays booked in the IHG One Rewards app from 1 October 2026 through 31 December 2026, beginning with the second qualifying stay. WeChat and LINE in listed markets also pay 3X. Other IHG-owned direct channels pay 2X. Each stay's multiplier follows the channel used for that booking.

Members must register before they book. Pre-registration runs 17 to 30 September 2026, and sign-up remains open during the promotion. The first qualifying stay earns regular base points only. That stay must itself be booked through an IHG direct channel or later stays will not earn the bonus. Only reservations made after 1 October 2026 count. Stays completed before registration do not qualify.

Third-party bookings are not qualifying stays. Rewards Nights are excluded, as are Points + Cash stays. There is no cap on bonus points.

Register before booking, then use the app after 1 October 2026 if at least two paid stays are planned through 31 December 2026.
