IHG One Rewards has stopped monitoring its email address for customer support, directing members to phone, fax, or an AI chatbot for non-urgent inquiries like applying elite certificates

## Summary

IHG One Rewards has ended its email customer support channel for non-urgent inquiries. Members previously used email for convenient, fast turnaround on issues like applying IHG Confirmable Suite Upgrade certificates and fixing stay postings. The new policy directs members to visit the IHG Customer Care page for self-service options, connect with the Digital Concierge or a Diamond Elite Specialist via chat, or call/fax. The change removes the email audit trail that many elite members relied on

## Why it matters

Spans 2 hotel programs (IHG, IHG One Rewards). Card-issuer angle via Chase. Removal of a benefit or service — adjust plans and use any remaining value.
