Effective immediately, Garuda Indonesia is no longer selling first class tickets on any of its flights through the end of the current schedule, despite retaining the cabin on select aircraft

## Summary

Garuda Indonesia has ceased the sale of first class tickets across its entire network, effective immediately through the end of the schedule. While the airline still operates first class cabins on its Boeing 777-300ERs, the product is currently unavailable for purchase. Historically, Garuda offered first class on its flagship Jakarta (CGK) to Amsterdam (AMS) route (GA88/GA89) and, since summer 2025, on the Bali (DPS) to Tokyo Narita (NRT) route (GA880/GA881). The airline has only two active 777s with first class, both used as presidential planes, which complicates scheduling. This marks a significant shift for the carrier, which has previously reconfigured aircraft to remove first class but has now stopped selling it entirely on remaining jets. Frequent flyers looking to book or redeem for first class on Garuda must now look to business class
