## Summary

Etihad Guest has launched a new benefit for its elite tiers: Gold, Platinum, and Emerald members are now eligible for discounts of up to 10% on Promo Seats. Promo Seats are fixed-mileage awards available to all members, but this new tiered discount provides additional value to higher-status holders. Bronze and Silver members are not eligible. The benefit applies to flights across Etihad’s global network, including recent expansions in Asia and Africa such as Dhaka, Shanghai, Accra, and Lagos. This change effectively lowers the redemption cost for elite members using miles for these specific award fares

## Why it matters

Affects 2 airline programs (Etihad, Etihad Airways).
