# Bilt ends 4% Flexible Bilt Cash for new cardholders from 2027

## Summary

Bilt Rewards will end 4% Flexible Bilt Cash for anyone approved on or after January 1, 2027, leaving new cardholders with Housing-Only Rewards at up to 1.25X on rent or mortgage. Cardholders approved by December 31, 2026, can keep 4% only by selecting it in the app before renewal. It will not stay the default.

From January 1, 2027, hotel Bilt Cash redemptions drop from monthly to twice a year, still capped at $50 for Blue and Silver status and $100 for Gold and Platinum. Housing-Only Rewards earners will receive annual hotel benefits as Bilt Cash rather than portal credits. Palladium holders who keep 4% Flexible Bilt Cash still receive up to $400 in hotel credits. Obsidian credits remain up to $100. A two-night minimum stay still applies.

Bilt Cash now expires 12 months after it is earned instead of all but $100 expiring at calendar year-end. Housing-Only Rewards cardholders gain Point Accelerator, an extra 1X on up to $5,000 of spend per year.

Choose 4% Flexible Bilt Cash in the Bilt app before the card renews and time hotel Bilt Cash to the twice-yearly caps from 2027.
