# Bilt shifts cards to 1.25x housing points unless 4% locked by Dec 31

## Summary

Bilt will launch Daily Rewards on January 15, 2027 with instant prizes and collectibles that can include $1 million toward a home. From January 1, 2027, new cards default to up to 1.25 points per dollar on housing based on spend versus rent, instead of 4% Bilt Cash on extra everyday spend.

Members earn Daily Rewards with an on-time housing payment or one qualifying neighborhood partner activity per day. Each reward offers two choices of instant Bilt Points or Bilt Cash, or a collectible piece. Collecting all four pieces of a set wins a prize from inventory by chance, including 10 million Bilt Points. Cardholders get Daily Rewards on top of housing points. Members who pay housing without a Bilt card lose the prior earn of up to 250 points. Prize odds are not out yet and instant values may be nominal.

New applicants keep 4% Bilt Cash only if they apply and accept by December 31, 2026. Submitting an application is not enough. Existing cardholders must opt out before their anniversary. The switch is permanent. Lock 4% Bilt Cash by applying and accepting by December 31, 2026, or by opting out in card settings before the anniversary.
