# Amex Gold and Platinum Resy Credit Eligibility Rules Change August 1, 2026

Effective August 1, 2026, Amex Gold and Platinum cardholders must use restaurants specifically marked as eligible for the Resy credit on the Resy app or website, narrowing the perk's scope

## Summary

American Express is updating the terms for its Resy dining credit benefit on the Amex Platinum and Amex Gold cards. Starting August 1, 2026, U.S. restaurants and food and beverage establishments will only qualify for the credit if they are specifically indicated as eligible on the Resy website or app at the time of purchase. Previously, virtually all Resy restaurants qualified.
