## Summary

American Express and Accor announced a global partnership covering points transfers and elite status for Canadian cardholders, with the transfer option going live on July 22, 2026. **Transfer Details:**
- **Eligibility:** Open to all enrolled Membership Rewards cardholders, not just premium tiers.
- **Limits:** Minimum transfer is 1,000 MR points; increments of 100 up to 999,900.
- **Timing:** Transfers take up to 48 hours; first-time account linking adds another 48 hours. **Context:**
- ALL Accor is now Amex's third hotel partner, joining Marriott Bonvoy and Hilton Honors.
- ALL Accor points have a flat value of 20 euros per 1,000 points (approx. 3.2 cents CAD per point at time of writing).
- Elite status component of the partnership is pending a future date.
- This expands earning options for Canadian Amex cards, which previously had no direct link to ALL Accor
