American Airlines is distributing official centennial-themed trading cards to passengers via pilots, featuring four current fleet types and three historic aircraft models

## Summary

American Airlines has begun rolling out official aircraft trading cards to celebrate its 100th anniversary. The cards are distributed by mainline pilots on a first-come, first-served basis. The collection includes four cards for current aircraft (A321neo, 737-800, 777-300ER, and 787-9P) and three special edition cards for historic models (DC-3, 707-123, and MD-80). Each card features aircraft specifications, diagrams, facts, and specific registration details. The rollout, which began in May 2026 with expectations of widespread availability and over seven million cards printed for the summer, follows a similar initiative by the Allied Pilots Association (APA). The cards serve as a commemorative item for passengers to connect with the airline's history
