# Aircalin A350s enter service from Noumea in January 2027

Aircalin's first A350-900 is due in December 2026 and will fly Noumea to Auckland from January 2027. The jet has 325 seats, including 32 Business Hibiscus Suite seats in a 1-2-1 reverse herringbone with doors.

Four of the business seats in row one are extra-comfort. The business seat resembles the STELIA Opera product on Air France's latest A350s. Premium economy has 24 seats in a 2-4-2 layout. Economy has 269 seats in 3-3-3.

The A350 will also fly Noumea to Brisbane and Noumea to Sydney, then take over Noumea to Paris via Bangkok from early April 2027. Japan flying ended after unrest in 2024, and Aircalin retained the Paris routing. Management has called the A350 essential for that route. A second A350 is due around mid-2028, after which the airline plans to sell one of its two A330-900neos and operate five aircraft.
