# Air Transat adds five seasonal Europe routes for summer 2027

Air Transat will fly Montreal to Geneva twice a week from June 19 to October 23, 2027, the airline's first service to the Swiss city. Four more seasonal Europe routes launch the same summer, each with one or two weekly flights through late October.

Toronto to Birmingham starts June 22 on Tuesdays and Fridays and sits next to existing England flying to London Gatwick and Manchester. Quebec City gets a Tuesday flight to Lyon from June 8 and a Monday flight to Barcelona from June 14. Montreal to Faro, weekly from June 14, becomes the city's third Portuguese airport after Lisbon and Porto.

Staria has no status tiers. Budget fares earn 3 points per dollar. Standard earns 5 and Flex earns 7. Extras such as seats and bags earn 5 points per dollar. Members can redeem for the full fare or mix points and cash in 10-percent slices from 10 through 40 percent of the ticket. Points do not cover taxes or extras and have no fixed value.
