Aegean has updated its Miles+Bonus tier hold policy to allow Silver and Gold members to extend status for one year due to military service or the arrival of a new child

## Summary

Aegean Airlines has updated the documentation and eligibility for its Miles+Bonus tier hold benefit. Active Silver and Gold members can now extend their status for one year in two specific cases: 1. **New Parents**: Members can apply for a one-year tier hold upon the arrival of a new family member. This can be submitted up to three times total. Requests must be made within the first year of the child's life and require a family status certificate. 2. **Military Service**: For the first time, members serving in the military (specifically temporary duty, excluding permanent personnel) are eligible for a tier hold. Applicants must submit a copy of their military ID. Key details:
- The benefit is personal and non-transferable.
- Approved tier holds allow members to continue earning and redeeming miles, though tier miles added to maintain status do not count toward upgrades.
- The hold cannot be changed or cancelled once approved.
- Aegean reserves the right to modify terms at its discretion
