Accor has updated its Best Price Guarantee policy effective May 20, 2026. Key changes include listing eligible brands instead of exclusions, standardizing Swissotel's discount to 25%, and clarifying points refund rules

## Summary

Accor has updated its Best Price Guarantee (BPG) policy, effective May 20, 2026. The BPG matches lower third-party prices with an additional 25% off. Key changes:
- Eligible Brands: The policy now lists 24 specific brands where the match applies (including Fairmont, Raffles, Swissôtel, Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel, Mercure, Ibis, etc.) rather than listing exclusions.
- Discount Structure: Swissôtel is no longer grouped with Raffles and Fairmont for a 10% discount; it now receives the standard 25% additional discount.
- Booking Channel: Users must compare app prices to app prices and web to web.
- Phantom Prices: Prices on third-party sites that are not actually bookable are excluded.
- Points Refunds: Bookings paid with points (fully or partially) will be refunded in points. The policy had not been updated since 2019
