# Accor will convert Helsinki’s Hotel Helka to ibis Styles in late 2027

Accor signed a franchise agreement to convert Helsinki’s 157-room Hotel Helka into ibis Styles Helsinki Helka in late 2027, the group’s first hotel in Finland. The 1928 building, designed by Wivi Lönn and still owned by Finland’s YWCA, will keep the Helka name. Hotelliyhtymä Oy will continue to run the hotel.

The hotel is in Etu-Töölö, not Kamppi as the press release placed it, slightly outside the busiest part of the center. Accor already operates several brands in nearby Tallinn. On opening, the hotel joins Accor Live Limitless, with member rates and rewards.

Nothing is bookable now, so watch the late 2027 opening for an Accor stay in Helsinki.
